Full Description:

A pale green nephrite jade hilt of typical ‘pistol-grip’ form.  The depth of carving and the particular opaque quality of the jade, provide the perfect contrast for the eye to appreciate the beautiful form of the flowering blossoms and elongated leaves.  The raised floral design is very similar to a rock crystal khanjar hilt illustrated by Hales (2013), p.24,
